Q: My elementary school aged child is always getting sick. How can I keep him/her healthy?
A: Remind your child to wash hands after using the restroom, after returning from recess, and before eating. Remind children that their hands contact many germs during the school day; touching their faces, eyes, noses can help those germs enter their bodies and make them sick. Remind children to wash their hands for at least 20 seconds when returning home.
