We at PHA sincerely apologize for the current issue patients are experiencing when calling in to our phone lines. Our incoming lines failed at approximately 5:00pm on Sunday, 12/29. After initial contact with the phone company to report the problem, we implemented our backup plan which is to route calls to our answering service. Presently the service continue to take calls and fax information over to our call center as the phone company works to repair the problem. To further support the needs of our patients, we implemented the walk-in policy for today in our Commerce Park, Fairfield Center, Shelton & Stratford offices as indicated in the earlier post.
The health and wellbeing of each and every patient and family member of PHA is of the utmost importance to all the doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistant and staff of our practice. Please, if your child is sick (fever, sore throat, vomiting, ear ache and you are unable to reach someone at our answering service in a timely manner, come in to the office before 3:15pm today.
